Tree Frog Climbs the Sky to Talk to Cloud and Wind
I am writing this because I am deeply disillusioned at the lack of imagination I find in kids today and because so many people ask me about “Creative Thinking” and where my ideas come from.
The idea came from my Sketchbook/Journal and I built on it. It has been deeply influenced by all the research I have done into the work of the indigenous peoples and prehistoric art of the world. The background is highly influenced by the cellular structure of wood and the photos of blepharopsis :thumb331404285: :thumb330357385: :thumb330166737: as was the tree frog
Tree Frog’s bride was heavy with eggs and had no place to lay them unless it rained and rained heavily.
Tree Frog went to many creatures from the world around him but the only one he could find to help was Spider.
Spider spun a ladder to the sky and Tree Frog climbed Spider’s ladder. Once in the sky, Tree Frog talked to Cloud and Wind.
I feel coupled with “Flying Tree Frog Hopping from Sky Island to Sky Island” (insert link here). This shows how I think and where many of my ideas come from. I will do my best to answer any questions about “Creative Thinking” but I find I teach in stories and by answering questions with questions.
